See What's Possible
Every journey to clearer vision is unique. Here’s what our patients have to say about their experience with
Thrive Vision Therapy.
I was having trouble with my balance and my vision. I had double vision when I turned to my left, significantly affected my driving.
Dr. Miller is a friend and neighbor of mine. She noticed I was having issues when she stopped by my house for a visit. At that time I wasn’t having any treatment. Nobody had even told me treatment was an option until Dr. Miller mentioned it to me.
I started treatment shortly after that with Dr. Miller and Traci. It’s been a long process because my symptoms were pretty bad. Traci worked with me and is very good at what she does. She could tell when I’d reach my limit and know when to push me. When I started I felt like a mess, but continuing to see them gave me my life back. I don’t know where I would be if Dr. Miller didn’t suggest the treatment.
Whether I was driving, working on my computer, reading, or just really tired, my eyes would drift. Traditional treatments never made much of a difference. I had done vision therapy when I was younger, and I’ve been going to Thrive with Vision for my regular eye exams, so when Dr. Miller told me I could try vision therapy again to regain control, I was honestly thrilled.
My experience was amazing! I felt supported every step of the way by Traci and Dr. Miller. The exercises were definitely different and challenging, nothing like the traditional treatments I’d tried before, but they actually worked. I started noticing that my eyes stopped drifting while doing homework on my computer or reading online. Vision therapy completely changed how I go about everyday activities. I can even read at night when I’m tired, something I struggled with for years.
One of the biggest changes was how much more in control I felt in public. My drifting eye had always been an insecurity, but therapy gave me confidence I didn’t have before.
If you’re hesitant to start therapy, my advice is to stick with it. It can be tough at first, especially when you get new exercises, you might feel like quitting, but don’t. You get better and better over time, and the confidence you gain is worth it.
Vision therapy has been truly life-changing for me, and I can’t thank Thrive with Vision enough for helping me feel confident in myself again!
