What to Expect (Timeline / Steps)
Comprehensive Evaluation
We begin with a full-scope, brain-based vision evaluation—not just a basic eye test. We assess how your brain is processing input from your visual, balance, and body awareness systems. This includes eye movements, reflex testing, functional visual fields, and high-tech assessments of coordination and posture. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of where your system is breaking down—and how we can help.
Personalized Plan
Based on your evaluation results and your individual goals, we build a therapy plan designed just for you. This plan outlines the frequency of sessions, the tools and exercises we’ll use, and how we’ll track your progress. Whether you’re recovering from a concussion, helping your child thrive in school, or working to regain balance and focus, your program is tailored to support real, lasting improvement.
Weekly Sessions
Your therapy sessions are one-on-one, guided, and highly interactive. We use hands-on techniques, movement patterns, visual exercises, and tools like laser targets, tracking systems, and sensory feedback to retrain how your brain processes and integrates information. Each session builds on the last, helping you make steady progress toward better focus, balance, and everyday function—at a pace that fits your life.
Tools & Techniques
Gravity Reset Method
This method helps recalibrate how your brain understands gravity and body orientation. Using a combination of guided movement, visual targets, and sensory feedback (like weighted headbands or laser pointers), we help your brain better recognize where you are in space. This improved awareness can reduce symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, and poor coordination.
Vestibular Rehab
Our vestibular system controls balance and spatial orientation. When it’s off, even simple movements can feel disorienting. We use targeted exercises to retrain your brain’s response to movement and head position, restoring smoother coordination, improved stability, and reduced motion sensitivity.
Syntonics - Light Therapy
Syntonics uses targeted wavelengths of light to influence how the brain processes visual information. By using specific colored filters, we can stimulate or calm targeted brain regions. This helps restore balance in the nervous system; improving symptoms like visual fatigue, emotional dysregulation, or post-concussion fog.
Vision Therapy
Vision therapy strengthens the connection between the eyes and the brain. Through customized exercises, we help improve how visual information is processed, interpreted, and used—boosting comfort, coordination, and learning. Like physical or speech therapy, it builds essential skills for clearer vision and everyday function.
Visual Memory & Timing
This therapy focuses on improving how your brain sees, remembers, and reacts to visual information. We use activities that enhance reaction time, spatial accuracy, and short-term recall. These skills are critical for everything from reading to sports—and often overlooked in traditional vision care.
Reflex Integration
Some primitive reflexes from early development may still be active in older children and adults—interfering with vision, movement, and attention. We gently retrain the nervous system to integrate these reflexes through specific exercises. This helps improve motor control, eye teaming, and focus.
Avulux Light-Filtering Lenses
Avulux Light-Filtering Lenses Avulux lenses are designed to help manage light sensitivity and migraines. Using patented optical technology, they filter out specific wavelengths of blue, amber, and red light—while allowing calming green light to pass through. This precise filtering supports comfort without distorting color perception.
Rezzimax Neuromodulation
Rezzimax® is a handheld vibration device that stimulates the vagus nerve and supports the central nervous system. Through gentle, targeted vibration, it promotes circulation, eases pain signals, and helps reset pathways involved in chronic symptoms—supporting relaxation, regulation, and recovery.
